Back to School Night

Parents, don’t forget! Back to School Night is tomorrow (Wednesday), September 18th – please attend the zero period session (8:24pm – 8:36pm) in the big gym for our first DCP (Dance Company Parent) meeting – see you there!

Back-to-school reminders

Are you ready? Here are a few reminders as you prepare for the start of the school year:

  • There will be no zero period on the first day of school.
  • Dance Company will start on Wednesday, September 4th at 6:50am (no need to dress out for this day).
  • Please bring your uniform check to Ms. Maes either on the first day of school (Tuesday) or Dance Company (Wednesday) – New members: $453; Returners: $360.
  • Back to school night is September 18th – all parents please attend the zero period session for our first DCP (Dance Company Parent) meeting of the year!
  • If you have not yet been fitted for your dress, please do so ASAP. Text Ms. Maes for more information.

Dress fitting this Thursday

Hello, Dance Company! We wanted to remind you dress fittings are this Thursday, August 29th at Melissa’s house (Penelope’s mom) at 4:00pm. Click here for the address and map. Please come and get fitted – if this day and time doesn’t work for you, please email Ms. Maes so we can work out another time. We’re trying to get the dresses before homecoming so please try and make it! This won’t take much time, so stop on by and get fitted.

Dance Company dinner June 19th

Hi, everyone! Your Dance Company team captains would like you to know there’s a “getting to know each other” dinner scheduled for Wednesday, June 19th, 7:00pm at the BJ’s Restaurant in Brea (click here for a map). Please contact Kate Mendoza (one of your team captains) and let her know if you will be able to attend. We hope you’ll be able to to come and join the fun while getting to know your fellow Dance Company members. Thanks for your support!

Parent meeting handout and required forms

In case you missed Monday’s parent and new/returning member meeting, click here for Miss Maes’ welcome handout with information regarding dance company expectations, performances, start-up costs, communication and fundraising. Please send us an email if you have any questions.

To participate in Dance Company, all members are required to fill out proof-of-insurance and pre-participation physical forms. If you haven’t already filled them out and turned them in, both can be found here for your convenience.

To all dance company members – have a great summer and don’t forget to take dance classes. Go Mustangs!
